Part of my Black History Month celebration this year includes trying some black owned wines & spirits. There are several African American brands in the wine and spirit space doing great work and producing excellent products. First up, I’m shining my spotlight on the McBride Sisters Black Girl Magic Wine Collection. After seeing this label pop up in a few of the shows/mini-series I’ve been streaming lately (no judgement for how I’m handling pandemic-lol), I couldn’t wait to try them for myself.

So without further adieu, join me for my sunny patio chat for my honest & raw impressions of the Black Girl Magic Rosé and Red Blend wines.

And heads up, It was a bit windy, but had no clue the mic would pick it up. (One day I’ll get the hang of this video thing 😊). I did my best to minimize it, but forgive me for those spots where I didn’t quite succeed.

Top Notes:

  • I gotta say, I loved them both!
  • This rosé will stay in rotation this year
  • The red blend left me speechless for a minute and I am NEVER speechless.
