I’m back with my 2nd Live at the Gardens concert recap for this summer!! And yes, I took more video! (because I know you love my shaky visuals, not quite there compositions, and off key singing! 😀 )
In case you missed it, my summer concert recap featuring Train can be found here.
Boy George & Culture Club
Boy George, in all his 80’s glory, was the concert headliner & the B52s were the opener. Since I’ve never had the pleasure of seeing either band perform live, I had to go. Of course.
I knew it would be a great show, but I also knew it would be very hot & very humid~ this is Memphis in July, after all. So that left only one drink that would be perfect for a hot summer’s night…
SANGRIA
Sangria is the perfect summer cocktail: it’s light, refreshing, and excellent for group settings (indoors or out).
So for a Boy George concert, I felt I really only had one choice and that’s Karma & Chameleon sangrias!! Red, gold, & green. 🙂 Both are creations of my own design and are SUPER delicious & refreshing. Yes, I am a bit dorky, I’m okay with that. 🙂
- Karma: white wine based sangria featuring mango and orange flavors
- Chameleon: white wine based sangria, featuring white grape, cucumbers, apples, & kiwi
Check out my video recap for more on the sangria, plus clips from the concert.
