As of today, there are just 10 days until Christmas. So If you still haven’t gotten a gift for your favorite traveler, or just don’t know what them, here’s my Holiday Gift Guide 2021 with 5 relatively inexpensive gift ideas you still have time to get before Christmas.

Social Media Support

This is the lowest cost item on my list because it’s 100% free! If your traveler is also a content creator or influencer, one of the best things you can give them is support via their active social media platforms. I know that not everyone is in the space financially to support their favorite creators by purchasing products or services, but giving a like, comment, follow, and/or share are free, and probably more valuable to them. Especially those just starting out.

Influencers, professional content creators, and social media managers are able to secure corporate sponsors, collaborations, and set their rates based on, in part, by their social media base. This includes all of their platforms and their email list. So while you may not be able to financially support them, you can help them secure growth opportunities with your engagement.

Here are 6 things you can do to support your favorite influencer or content creator:

  1. Follow them on their social platforms
  2. Engage with their content with a like or view, AND a comment
  3. Share their content with others you feel will find it useful
  4. Join their email/newsletter distribution list
  5. Use their affiliate links if they feature a product or service you are interested in purchasing
  6. Word of mouth/grass roots: tell others you feel could benefit from their services/products

If you really want to do this one up big, encourage a few your friends and others you think would like their content to do 2-3 of the following 6 things outlined above. I promise, your content creator will be beyond thrilled at the uptick in their growth.

Luggage Tags/ Passport Covers

Passport CoverLuggage tags and passport covers are cute, inexpensive gifts that your traveler is sure to love. They are great ways for your traveler to express their personalities a bit as they come in all sorts of colors, materials, and licensed characters to choose from. (I have Darth Vader tags myself 😊.)

They’re not only cute, but functional. Luggage tags help you spot your bags at the baggage claim, but they also ID your bag in case it gets lost. (Been there, done that-lol). Passport covers are especially helpful in protecting your passport from wear & tear, and theycome with pockets allowing for travel document organization. A quick Amazon or Etsy search will yield you 100’s of options to choose from. Help your favorite travel out by picking out a stylish design they’ll love.

Subscription Services

Subscription services are very popular these days, so with a little research, you’re sure to find one your traveler will love. Do they like coffee, wine/spirits, knitting, tea, jams, etc? Well, you’re in luck, because there’s surely a subscription service out there they will appreciate.

I like them because they are a great way to gain exposure to new, niche products I may not normally know about or have the opportunity to try. And if you really have no clue as to what your traveler may or may not like, there’re a lot of subscription services geared towards the wonder of travel. So hit the internet and find something awesome your traveler will love.

Pivo

If your traveler explores solo or has to film themselves most often, then Pivo is a great tool I recommend. I have one & love it. Pivo is a self tracking pod that works with you phone to allow you to film hands free. I’ve had mine for about 2 years now, and it’s really come in handy. I’m now able to film myself (interviews or live feeds) and remain in frame, regardless of my movements, by using their handy face track feature.

Using my Pivo also helps me maintain a set vantage point and keeps my video transitions smooth, which is clutch when it comes time to edit multiple cuts. Cos let me tell you, I can’t film stable content on my own to save my life-LOL. It also comes with other modes, including body and action tracking modes, which allows for solo filming of videos involving any type of motion like exercise, dancing, biking, etc. If you’re interested in learning more, head over to their site. Another plus is they offer priority shipping, so you if you jump on it now, you can get it by Christmas.

Gift cards

Last but not least, you can never go wrong with gift cards. You can do niche gift cards if you know the specific store or brand your traveler is fond of. But a basic Visa or Mastercard gift card is ideal as they can be used almost anywhere: airports, restaurants, stores, etc. This is a great way to help your traveler our financially as they can use them in their travel budgets as they see fit.

That’s it, this is my Holiday Gift Guide 2021 featuring last minute, budget friendly gifts for your favorite traveler or content creator. If you are interested, I have five other gift ideas here that are solid choices, but may run you a bit more in the money department though.

Happy Holidays!
